Itinerary

1st Day: Casablanca to Rabat 

Upon your arrival at the airport, we’ll greet you and proceed to downtown Casablanca for your first glimpse of Morocco’s countryside. You’ll visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, adorned with exquisite tile work (please note: visits are not possible on Fridays or religious holidays). Afternoon queues may limit interior access, but the exterior alone is awe-inspiring. Then, we’ll journey to Rabat, the capital, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad.

2nd Day: Rabat to Fes

 After breakfast, we’ll explore Rabat’s landmarks, including the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continuing on to Fes, we’ll pause at the Roman ruins of Volubilis for a glimpse into ancient history before arriving in Fes for dinner and accommodation in a riad.

3rd Day: Discovering Fes 

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, the oldest of Morocco’s “Imperial Cities.” We’ll delve into the medieval wonders of Fes El Bali, visiting the Bou Inania Medersa, the Medina, and the Kairaouine Mosque. Later, we’ll explore Fes El Jdid and the Museum of Moroccan Arts, with an overnight stay in a riad.

4th Day: Fes to Merzouga

 Departing Fes in the morning, our journey to Merzouga takes us through the captivating landscapes of the Middle Atlas, with a stop in Azrou to observe Barbary apes. Lunch will be enjoyed in Midelt before traversing the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, known for its date festival and fossils. Arriving in Merzouga, you’ll be greeted with tea before experiencing the desert’s magic at sunset, followed by dinner and a night in a nomad tent.

5th Day: Merzouga Exploration 

After breakfast, embark on a camel ride or a walk through the dunes, with lunch prepared amidst the desert landscape. Spend the day wandering the sandy expanse, returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

6th Day: Merzouga to Dades 

Witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before breakfast, then depart for Tinghir and the Toudgha Gorges. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the valley before continuing to the Dades Valley for the night in a hotel.

7th Day: Dades to Ouarzazate

 Following breakfast, explore the Dades Gorges before continuing to Ouarzazate. En route, visit Berber nomads and partake in traditional tea before arriving in Ouarzazate for overnight accommodation.

8th Day: Ouarzazate to Marrakesh

 After breakfast, journey to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for numerous Hollywood blockbusters. Continue through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and arriving in the late afternoon.

9th Day: Marrakesh Exploration 

Explore the vibrant city of Marrakesh, visiting iconic sites such as the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, and Bahia Palace. Spend the night in a riad, with the option to participate in a cooking class.

10th – 11th Day: Marrakesh to Essaouira 

Venture to the coastal town of Essaouira, known for its artisanal crafts, historic ramparts, and picturesque beaches. Enjoy leisurely days exploring the town’s charms before retiring to a riad for the night.

12th Day: Essaouira to Casablanca 

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Casablanca, with a stop in El Jadida to visit the Portuguese cistern. Arrive at the airport for your departure, concluding your unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
