You’ll traverse the southern part of the Middle Atlas mountains, with a brief stop in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its cleanliness and safety. Next, you’ll pause at Michlifen Park, home to the macaque Apes, witnessing the changing landscapes and foliage as you journey closer to the desert. Crossing the High Atlas mountains, you’ll encounter oases along the route, eventually arriving in the desert by evening, around 5 pm. There, you’ll experience a camel ride to witness the sunset atop the dunes before retiring to your luxury camp for a night of nomadic ambiance.

Day 2: Towards Dades Valley

Your day begins with a visit to Erfoud city, renowned as the city of fossils, where you’ll have the opportunity to delve into the area’s archaeology with a short museum visit. Then, it’s a direct ride to the Todgha Gorges, admiring the desert’s shifting hues and the majestic mountains along the way. You’ll pause for lunch and a short respite in Tinghir town before immersing yourself once more in the High Atlas to explore the Todgha Gorges. Returning to Boumalne Dades, you’ll encounter Berber villages, offering insight into a different way of life, and spend the night in the Dades Valley.

Day 3: Journey to Marrakech

Embark on the longest street in Morocco, the “street of 1000 kasbahs,” making your way to the city of roses, Kelaat Mgouna. Here, you’ll witness the process of making rose water before continuing your journey to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco due to its film studios. A brief stop at Studio Atlas adds an extra activity to your day before you proceed to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou castle.
